Not sure where to start when it comes to styling your new bathroom?
Here are 6 top tips from local Interior Designer, Holly from Ardent Design Beverley, to help turn your new, blank canvas into a beautiful spa-like space.

1. Use calming base colours
Choose neutral tones like soft whites, beiges, light greys, or calming blues for the walls, tiles, and accessories. These colours evoke a sense of peace and spaciousness.
2. Introducing highlight colours
If you want to add a pop of brighter colour to your bathroom palette, do this with towels, plants and artworks so as not to overwhelm the space and retain the relaxing vibe.
3. Spa-like towelling
Choose high-quality, oversized towels and bathrobes in neutral or soft pastel shades. Keep them neatly folded or hung in a way that feels inviting and spa-like.
4. Create texture
Add a layer of texture to your bathroom floor with thick, shaggy bath mats. A great way to introduce segments of light colour and pattern as well as create a soft, warm landing when you step out of the bath or shower.
5. Clever Storage
Think about your bathroom essentials such as spare toilet rolls and toiletries and consider storing them in rattan storage boxes or baskets to create a design element in the room as well as keep them out of view.
6. Reflect natural light
Add a statement mirror or vase to create reflection and texture in all corners of the bathroom.
