Peter Ward Homes Habrough Fields site at Immingham is in its closing phase. The site was started in 2007 and the final plots will be ready to occupy this Autumn. In total 217 homes will have been built at Habrough over the last ten years.
Even during the recession we were selling new homes there. Its in a great location on the west side of Immingham, close enough to the town centre but also overlooking open fields and with the country park on its other boundary its like a small village. Its good for those working on the Humber or for commuters either going East toward Grimsby or taking the A180 to the Humber Bridge and beyond.”
Among the remaining homes, the company have the last four Marlow house types ready for sale now, in fact three of these are completed and buyers could move straight in.
The four Marlows are a classic modern design, a 4 bed detached house with the very popular single integral garage that allows for more bedroom space on the first floor, yet still has plenty of room on the ground floor. All four plots are priced at £240,000, excellent value for a home of this size.
Rosemary Key, the Sales Director says this is one of her favourite house types “The full width kitchen and day room, with its bi-fold doors opening out onto the garden and patio, makes this a real family home. Plenty of space for day to day living. The more formal lounge area creates a space for relaxing, either together or for individuals who just want to chill out, away from the hustle and bustle.”
“Its upstairs where the Marlow really wins out. Each bedroom is big enough for a double bed so there’s no small ‘box room’. The Master Bedroom even has enough space for a dressing area and an en suite shower room. The second bedroom has ample space for two single beds making it ideal for young children or as a guest room. This is a home that can grow with you and the other two bedrooms are great for teenagers. In fact it’s so flexible you can adapt it to whatever your needs are”
As with all Peter Ward homes all the appliances you need are included in the price. With the Marlow that means a gas hob, extractor, built in double oven, integrated fridge freezer and dishwasher. The utility room, just off the day room, comes complete with a plumbed in washer space and there is a downstairs cloakroom and WC. Upstairs is the family bathroom, which comes with a bath and shower combined.
Rosemary was also quick to point out the affordability of the Marlow. “Using Help to Buy you may be able to purchase this new home for a £12,000 deposit and get up to a 20% equity loan. This means a mortgage that carries significantly lower monthly repayments than a standard mortgage and gives you a really spacious 4 bed family home in return.”
The Marlow has been a popular choice for buyers at Habrough Fields and with just four left, as we go to press, there will be a lot of interest in these remaining plots.
