Peter Ward Homes is proud to announce that their Site Manager, Paul Lambert, has won a Pride in the Job Quality Award for his work at their prestigious Old College site in Beverley.
Run by the NHBC, Pride in the Job celebrates the exceptional contribution site managers make to creating homes of outstanding quality.
“We are all very proud of Paul’s efforts” said Peter Ward the company’s MD, “Quality is at the heart of everything we do at Peter Ward Homes, all our sites are run to stringent standards but Pride in the Job is at another level and not easy to attain. Site Managers have won these Awards in the past, for work at some of our other sites, but its always nice to be recognised again. ”
Old College is a fabulous site and the most prestigious residential development in Beverley. Adjacent to the Westwood and Racecourse, there are 36 ultra luxury, designer homes being built on this nine acre site. All are truly remarkable homes in what is a stunning location. This has made Paul’s achievements even more outstanding, as the homes have lots of very intricate construction detail.
Paul has been selected from around 16,000 site managers across the UK to win one of the 450 Quality Awards for 2019. He had this to say “Judging for the awards is meticulous, beginning a year before the announcement of the first round of winners. As well as undergoing spot checks of the day-to-day running of the Old College site I have been assessed across 44 areas of site management, including technical knowledge, consistency in the build process and the quality controls we have in place.”
It will come as no surprise that Pride in the Job winning sites have higher levels of customer satisfaction, as the site managers who build them put exceptional quality into everything they do.
Paul continued “It’s a team effort, right from the staff in head office to the guys on the ground. This is a very demanding site, these are some of the biggest homes the company has built. But its no different to the more standard sites I have worked on. Quality wins out in the end and this award demonstrates that”
As a Pride in the Job Quality Award winner Paul will now go onto the Regional Awards where ten successful candidates from our area will be chosen for the Supreme Awards in London. We wish Paul all the best for his future success.
