Fifty and Counting Down

Peter Ward Homes successful chain of new home developments in Goole is being continued by their latest site Whin Croft, which is at the bottom of Thorntree Lane on the south side of the town.

This is a 50 plot site of two, three and four bed homes and with prices starting at £125,000 they certainly fall into the affordable category. The company’s Sales Director, Rosemary Key is very happy with the response that they have had to Whin Croft. “Recent years has seen us have pretty much a constant presence in Goole, in fact we are seeing customers from previous sites buying at our new developments, as their families grow or they want to move to a larger home. We have built up a reputation amongst the townsfolk and the locals for delivering a well designed home, with great build quality at a competitive price.”

The show home on the site, a Wells, which is a four bedroomed detached house with double detached garage has only just been opened but is going down really well with site visitors. “We are open seven days a week from 11am” continued Rosemary, “and we haven’t had one quiet day since we got back at New Year. We believe a lot of this is down to the mix of housing we have at Whin Croft.”

The Harris, Banbury and Farndale are all great first-time buyer or couples homes. The Farndale is a three bed semi detached and prices start at £165,000. Moving up to the Clifton, Wansford and Woburn, these are all larger three bed homes and ideal for a young family. The Clifton, which is a new style semi-detached chalet bungalow, has the advantage of a downstairs bedroom and bathroom and a master bedroom with En Suite upstairs, priced at £175,000.

There are five housetypes to choose from in the four bed range, all offering their own take on family lifestyle living. Each has a Kitchen/Day Room and En Suite to the Master Bedroom. The Wells show home is truly stunning. With a Lounge and Study just off the Entrance Hall, you then walk into the full width Kitchen/Day Room with its bi-fold door and large expanse of glass. A Utility Room and Cloakroom complete the downstairs layout. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, each capable of accommodating a double bed. It is in the Master Bedroom where it is all happening though, a Dressing Room leads on to the En Suite. The rest of the family have use of the bathroom, which comes with a separate bath and shower.

Rosemary had this warning however “We are in the enviable position of having reservations on 15 out of the 19 plots that will be available in 2017. If you want to move to Whin Croft you are going to have to move quickly, we believe that by this time next year we will have reservations on all but a few of the 50 plots at this site”.
